Macron is preparing a new pension reform
French President Emmanuel Macron announced that in early 2021 he will present a plan for another pension reform. On Tuesday, September 22, reports Le Figaro. The project, previously proposed by Nicolas Sarkozy and then forgotten for a long time, is designed to form a greater economic and physical independence for older people. The president himself described the future law as an incredibly ambitious solution to the problems of retirement age. Macron also added that the new document promises to be very specific and will allow you to rethink those professions that were previously insufficiently evaluated. In particular, the law will prescribe the organization of hospitalization or home care for elderly people who are not able to independently provide for their life. The 5 billion euros that are planned to be spent by 2024 on implementing the provisions of the law will go to returning older people to their place in society, ensuring them a happy life and as much time as possible that they would spend with their family at home or in specialized medical institutions if they want to. According to the news agency, the French government postponed pension reform and unemployment insurance reform until at least the end of the year.
