Iran delivers humanitarian aid to Tajikistan to fight COVID-19


The Iranian Government sent medicines as humanitarian aid to Tajikistan. This was reported on September 4 on the page of the Iranian embassy on Facebook. The Iranian Embassy in Tajikistan reported that a second cargo of humanitarian aid was already delivered to the republic to combat coronavirus. 2.5 tons of medicines were delivered, as well as fans, thermometers, compressors, antiseptics and diagnostic equipment. In addition, 102 passengers were delivered to Tajikistan on the same flights, including 59 citizens of the republic. 63 people flew back to Iran, including 21 citizens of the republic who went to study and treatment.
