Under the auspices of the European Commission and the human rights organization Global Citizen, an event will be held to raise funds to combat coronavirus infection. The goal is to raise $31.4 billion, the publication said in a statement. These funds should go to the creation of effective methods to combat the threat of the spread of coronavirus. Recall that the outbreak of coronavirus infection, first recorded in Chinese Wuhan in December 2019, spread to the whole world. The number of detected cases of infection exceeded 9 million 828 thousand people.
