In Dushanbe, revealed the supply of synthetic drugs from Europe
Employees of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan seized about 40 kilograms of opium and more than 2.2 thousand ecstasy tablets, revealing a major channel through which synthetic drugs were supplied from Europe to the capital city of Dushanbe, the press service of the Moscow Ministry of Internal Affairs reports. Police detained a 32-year-old Tajik, from whom 2 thousand 224 ecstasy tablets were seized. A supplier of narcotic drugs, transporting them in trucks in packages with tea, was put on the international wanted list. In addition, three residents of the Gorno-Badakhshan region of Tajikistan were detained in Dushanbe on suspicion of possessing opium weighing more than 23 kilograms. Law enforcement officers seized almost 40 kilograms of opium from them. It is noted that two residents of the Sogd and Khatlon regions were also detained, who found 15 kilograms of opium. The department noted that criminal cases have been instituted on all these facts under the article "Illegal trafficking in drugs and psychotropic drugs," an investigation is currently underway.
